demar-score-600

The Raptors remarkable post-trade run continued into a new calendar year on Wednesday with possibly their best win of the season — a 95-82 win against the league-leading Pacers.

DeMar DeRozan struggled early but picked up his shooting in the fourth quarter on his way to a game-high 26 points in the win and the performance also re-wrote the Raptors’ record book.

The ‘Road Warriors’ Return Home: We’ve learned that this new version of the Raptors travels pretty well with wins in five of their last six road games, including Friday’s 95-83 win over the Knicks at MSG.

Which Raptors Team Will We See?  It was a tough time to take a mini-break for the Raptors, who were playing some of their best basketball of the season before a brief holiday break. They’re 4-2 since newly-acquired players from the Kings joined the lineup and head coach Dwane Casey has said he sees the mental toughness growing with his group.

That includes some surprising wins against Western Conference powers in the Thunder and Mavs last week, but how will the Raptors respond after a couple days off against Eastern Conference foes? ...

- DeMar DeRozan wasn’t exactly brilliant shooting the ball the whole night, with increased defensive attention at least part of the reason why.

“Sometimes you have to be the decoy,” said head coach Dwane Casey post-game. “Some days you’re the pigeon, some days you’re the statue.”

DeRozan shot just 6-of-18 from the ...

What to watch tonight as the Raptors conclude a back-to-back set on the road in Chicago against the shorthanded Bulls (8 PM ET, TSN, TSN 1050).

Better Living Through Ball Movement: Can the Raptors continue to get much better ball movement post-Rudy Gay trade? In their last three games, they’ve posted assist totals of 19, 23 and matched a season high with 24 last night against Philadelphia.

Kyle Lowry, the subject of some pretty intense trade speculation of late, has led the way. He’s paced the Raptors in assists for 13 consecutive ...
