We were finally able to prank Amen and Amber. Check out what happened when we did a double birthday prank!
With preseason games under way the other girls and I are beginning to spend a lot of time at the Air Canada Centre. Always searching for style inspiration I had to talk to our in-arena host Kat. During my time on the Dance Pak it has been impossible not to notice and love her amazing and progressive outfits. While chatting, Kat described her camera-ready style as “tomboy chic”. She always finds a way to add a funky edge to her feminine look and I think that is a great way to play with everyday outfits.
The most important meal of the day…breakfast. I’ve tried so hard to love oatmeal, but no luck until these cookies came along. This recipe is so simple! I made two different batches, mix ingredients in a bowl and cook at 350F for 15 minutes.
My breakfast was complete with raspberries, blackberries, Greek yogurt and a glass of almond milk.
Most of the ingredients are interchangeable…cranberries would be great too! These cookies are addicting! Enjoy!
See you at the ACC tonight and GO RAPTORS!!!
Red lipstick plays a very important role in the world of Dance Pak and the rest of my life! With the season starting up again I am excited to rock the red more often both on and off the court. Nothing is more powerful and feminine than a great red lip. Adding an intense pop of colour with a lipstick, especially red, is a quick way to add a glamorous element to any outfit…and goes great with your favorite Raptors apparel! Muah x

Today is our first preseason home game! I whipped up this quick and easy meal to have before hand, containing refreshing raw veggies and a dressing that makes it all taste so much better.
I put together what I had in my fridge, beans/chick peas and even tofu would be a great addition too!
Mix ingredients in a bowl with dressing and voila! This should give me that energy I’ll need on court!
Thanks for checking out today’s post and GO RAPTORS GO!!!
This was an exciting weekend for the Dance Pak. Travelling is always a great excuse to expand fashion horizons. Six of us were lucky enough to have the opportunity to come to Halifax, Nova Scotia for the Raptors Intrasquad Training Camp. Coming to the east coast I couldn’t wait to break out my favourite maritime inspired pieces and see what the other girls had packed.
Keep it Hali-fabulous,
“Wow, where should I begin? Between the moment I stepped onto the Raptors practice court, back in July for the open auditions, to this very moment of typing this blog post, reality still has yet to sink in. Believe it or not, it’s all still very surreal to me that myself and nine other rookies were chosen to be a dancer on the Foot Locker Raptors Dance Pak, alongside the ten returning veteran dancers, who also fought hard for their spots on the team! The vets have been nothing short of a pleasure to dance/work with and have welcomed us rookies with open arms (thank you ladies lol), but I thought it would be cool to give you guys the inside scoop on how this experience has been going so far, from a “rookie” perspective.
With the Raptors first preseason game fast approaching, you can only imagine how hard we’ve all been working in rehearsals to learn all the routines. Amberley has been the perfect blend of what a dance coach/choreographer should be; tough but motivating! She knows what moves she wants and how she wants them done! I know for myself, the first couple of rehearsals were almost intimidating. Not because Mariah slightly resembles Scary Spice or because Janaye is just a ball of energy and personality lol, but because I wanted to make sure I was doing the choreography perfectly and keeping up with the vets! However, the moment I started to relax and realize that we were all selected for something special that the judges had seen in us at the audition, everything just started to click! With 20 girls you’d think it’d get hectic, but all the girls have been very helpful and encouraging; the team chemistry has already started building. I think I can speak for all the rookies when I say we’re just honored to be a part of something so special, that we want to make everyone proud.
Knowing that in only a matter of days we’ll be on the court, doing what we love, is a very exhilarating feeling, that I’m sure will be like no other! The vets have spoken so highly of what their on court experiences have been like, that I know we’re all just itching to get out there and experience it for ourselves. We plan to live up to the RDP standards and bring lots of hype and excitement to all the fans at every game; so we’ll feed off of your energy if you feed off of ours! Deal? Haha, it’s truly an honor and a blessing and we couldn’t be more thankful for this experience.
See you at the games & GO RAPTORS!!
