Raptors Can’t Overcome Slow Start Against Blazers

Make it seven straight losses for the Raptors, who were competitive with the Blazers for the final 36 minutes on Friday, but LaMarcus Aldridge began a monster night with a bang and the home side was playing catch-up the rest of the way.

Reeling Raptors Return To Practice At ACC

The Raptors were back on the practice court on Thursday – a January rarity for Dwane Casey and his team during a month of the schedule loaded with back-to-backs and unforgiving travel.

“Practices are precious,” said Casey on Thursday. “This is the second one we’ve had [this week] and it’s going to help us. Going into a [hotel] ballroom and walking through stuff as a young team just doesn’t simulate the game speed and the veteran savvy of a team like Boston or tomorrow night like Portland.”

Raptors Roughed Up By Celtics

A disheartening 96-73 loss for the Raptors against the Celtics on Wednesday in Boston. Help could be on the way soon as Friday however, as @RaptorsPR tweeted post-game that both Andrea Bargnani and Jerryd Bayless are hopeful to practice Thursday at ACC.
