CLEVELAND (CP) – The Raptors aren’t officially in the NBA playoffs. They don’t look ready for them, either.

Dion Waiters scored 24 points, Luol Deng added 19 and the Cleveland Cavaliers prevented Toronto from getting closer to a post-season spot with a 102-100 win over the sloppy Raptors on Tuesday night.

Toronto fell behind by 21 points in the third quarter, and then battled back to take a 95-94 lead. But the Raptors fell apart in the final minutes.

The Raptor Returns Against The Hawks!


After months of rehabilitation from an Achilles tendon injury with the rather unconventional Dr. Goodman, The Raptor made his much-anticipated return to the court on Sunday!

As you can see from the video above and the photos below, fans were thrilled to welcome the greatest mascot in sports back to doing what he does best. Be sure to keep an eye out for The Raptor at all remaining home games this season!

Lowry, DeRozan Lift Raptors Late Against Hawks


In a Sunday matinee against the Atlanta Hawks the Toronto Raptors were able to pull out a 96-86 victory. After sleepwalking through the first three quarters, the Raptors outscored Atlanta 36-15 in the fourth. Trailing by three points with less than four minutes remaining, Toronto reeled off a 15-2 run to close the game and run away with the win.

“I told Tim Leiweke on the way in, it was like pulling teeth,” Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said. “It was like going to the dentist office in that first half.”

Raptors Get Crucial Win After Crushing Loss

TORONTO (CP) – Toronto’s Kyle Lowry had spent big chunks of Sunday’s game on the bench, part of the coaching and medical staff’s plan to manage the minutes of their battered and bruised team leader.

Unleashed in the fourth quarter, Lowry scored seven of his 25 points in the game’s final minute to lift the Raptors to a 96-86 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
