The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday they have exercised the fourth year team option on the Rookie Scale Contract of forward Ed Davis. Davis is now guaranteed through the 2013-14 season. In accordance with the league’s collective bargaining agreement, the Raptors had until October 31 to exercise their option on Davis. Per team policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will undergo therapy and rehabilitation for a strained adductor muscle he sustained in his left leg during training camp last week in Halifax.

There is no timetable for his return to full basketball activity and he is not expected to participate in preseason games scheduled for this week.

The Toronto Raptors announced Friday the team’s roster for training camp at Canada Games Centre in Halifax from October 2-6.

All practices will be closed to the public. Practices will be open to the media for the final 30 minutes. Players and coaches will be available only after a practice session and the intrasquad game. No flash photography or live shots will be allowed during practice and the intrasquad game.

McNeal, 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, played last season in Italy with Fabi Shoes Montegranaro. He averaged 10.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 32 outings.

The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday their broadcast schedule for the 2012-13 NBA season with all 82 regular season contests being broadcast in High Definition (HD) and televised nationally for a seventh consecutive season.
