The Toronto Raptors announced Monday rookie guard Dwight Buycks (BIKES) has been recalled from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League.

Buycks was assigned to the Jam on December 3. He appeared in five games, averaging 12.4 points, 4.0 assists and 26.4 minutes. He posted highs of 19 points in his debut January 4 against Los Angeles and five assists January 5 versus Sioux Falls.

Buycks has appeared in 12 games for the Raptors this season recording 41 points, 10 assists, 20 rebounds and six steals in 121 minutes. He posted ...

The Toronto Raptors announced Friday they have assigned guard Dwight Buycks to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League. Buycks will continue to be included on the Raptors’ roster and will be placed on the team’s inactive list.

Buycks has appeared in 12 games for the Raptors this season recording 41 points, 10 assists, 20 rebounds and six steals in 121 minutes. He posted a season-best 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals December 10 versus San Antonio.

Dwane Casey Named NBA Eastern Conference Coach of the Month

NEW YORK, Jan. 2, 2014 – The Toronto Raptors’ Dwane Casey and the Phoenix Suns’ Jeff Hornacek today were named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Coaches of the Month, respectively, for games played in December.

Raptors Waive Augustin

The Toronto Raptors announced Monday they have waived guard D.J. Augustin. Augustin was signed by the club as a free agent July 22.

Augustin appeared in 10 games, averaging 2.1 points, 1.0 assists and 8.2 minutes.

The roster now stands at 14. The Raptors play host to the defending Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday at Air Canada Centre at 7 p.m.

Veteran play-by-play voice Matt Devlin will call all the action on the television side for his sixth season.
