The Toronto Raptors announced Friday their television and radio broadcast schedule for games from November 1-15.

Veteran play-by-play voice Matt Devlin will call all the action on the television side for his sixth season. He will be joined by “The Coach” Jack Armstrong for broadcasts on TSN and TSN2 while former NBA first-round draft pick Leo Rautins will lend his expertise as the analyst on Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE telecasts.

Raptors Set Roster For Opening Night

The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday their roster for tonight’s regular season opener against the Boston Celtics at Air Canada Centre (7 p.m. TSN2/Sportsnet 590 The FAN). In accordance with league rules, all teams were required to reduce their training camp rosters to a maximum of 15 players.

The Raptors finished the 2013 preseason with a 6-1 mark.

Raptors Waive Morais, Wright

The Toronto Raptors announced Saturday they have waived guard Carlos Morais and forward Chris Wright.

Morais totaled six points and 21 minutes in three preseason games, while Wright tallied 10 points, six rebounds and 26 minutes in five outings.

The roster now stands at 15. The Raptors open the 2013-14 season at home October 30 versus Boston (7 p.m.).

Raptors Exercise Team Options On Jonas Valanciunas & Terrence Ross

The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday they have exercised the third-year team options on the Rookie Scale Contracts of centre Jonas Valanciunas and guard Terrence Ross. The contracts for Valanciunas and Ross are now guaranteed through the 2014-15 season. In accordance with the league’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Raptors had until October 31 to exercise their option on both players. Per team policy, financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Kyle Lowry Injury Update

Raptors guard Kyle Lowry injured his left ring finger tendon during the third quarter of Wednesday’s game versus Memphis.

Lowry’s finger will be protected with a splint for approximately six weeks. During this time he will be able to participate in practices and play in games.

Lowry had a follow-up examination this afternoon in Toronto and did not accompany the team to Milwaukee for Friday’s preseason finale.

The Raptors open the regular season Wednesday at Air Canada Centre versus the Boston Celtics (7 p.m.).
