Return To Draft Central | More Workout Recaps: Day 1 | Day 3 | Day 4
With the 37th and 56th picks in the upcoming draft on June 28th, the Raptors have two opportunities to try and land a diamond in the rough and Wednesday provided an up-close look at a handful of potential candidates.
There was some Canadian content among the group, including North Vancouver native Rob Sacre out of Gonzaga (C) and Syracuse forward Kris Joseph, who didn’t take part in contact drills due to a sore groin. In the absence of Joseph, Western Carolina guard and Pickering native Harouna Mutombo (nephew of Dikembe) was a last-minute addition.
Tyshawn Taylor from Kansas and fellow point guard Jordan Taylor from Wisconsin (no relation), LSU centre Justin Hamilton and Auburn forward Kenny Gabriel were also on hand hoping to make an impression with Raptors officials.
