Raptors Move On To Knockout Round At NBA Summer League

What you see above is the result of seeding for the knockout round of the NBA’s inaugural Summer League Championship bracket. Here’s how it shakes out for the Raptors:

– As a result of their 2-1 record through the preliminary round, the Raptors found themselves among the top half of the 22 teams here in Las Vegas.

– The second tiebreaker however, is quarters “won” in the preliminary round. The Raptors outscored opponents in eight of 12 quarters through their first three games — good enough to get them the sixth seed and a first round bye in the championship bracket as a top ten team.

– This means the Raptors will face the winner of today’s New Orleans Pelicans (#11) vs. Denver Nuggets (#22) matchup from COX Pavillion at 6 PM ET.

– The Raptors second-round game vs. either the Pellies or Nuggets is scheduled to go at 6 PM ET on Thursday from COX Pavillion and will be LIVE on NBA TV Canada at 6 PM ET. Or for five bucks, you can watch the remainder of the tournament on any desktop, tablet or mobile device live and on demand with NBA Summer League Live.
