More From MacKenzie | Raptors Video Player | Join Raptors Playoff Offers List

During the three weeks that Patrick Patterson was sidelined with a right elbow injury, he got to know Air Canada Centre quite well.

Desperate to get back onto the floor with his teammates, Patterson’s rehabilitation process went around the clock. Whether his teammates were traveling to road games or suiting up in front of the home crowd, Patterson spent the majority of his days in the training room receiving treatment on his arm.

Learning plenty about the history of the ...

Season Series: Pacers 2-1

The Toronto Raptors will try to split their season series against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night at the Air Canada Centre. While the Raptors could be without Kyle Lowry and Amir Johnson for the second straight game —and DeMar DeRozan will be playing with a non-shooting hand that has five stitches down the middle — they’ve looked better than the Pacers in recent weeks.

Indiana has looked like a very different team than the one that started the ...

Transformed Raptors Take Down Rockets In Toronto

Game Recap | Box Score | Photos | Video Highlights & Post-Game Reaction | More From MacKenzie

It’s been five months since the Toronto Raptors lost a double-overtime affair to the Rockets in Houston. In those five months the Raptors traded their highest-paid player, gained a legitimate bench, started figuring things out and clinched the playoffs. Basically, that team that lost to the Rockets in November doesn’t exist anymore.

On Wednesday night at Air Canada Centre, Toronto showed Houston how much has happened since their last meeting, collecting a 107-103 victory despite ...

Season Series: Rockets 1-0

The Toronto Raptors were a completely different team the last time they saw the Houston Rockets. At the Toyota Center on November 11th, 2013, the Raptors came out on the losing end of a seemingly never-ending 110-104 double-overtime decision.

Rudy Gay led the team in scoring with 29 points, but needed to hoist 37 shots to get it. DeMar DeRozan shot just 6-for-25 in the game and Kyle Lowry was 6-for-16 from the floor on a night when the ...

Season Series: Raptors 2-1

While the Toronto Raptors have known for awhile that they’re heading toward the post-season after a five-year post-season drought, a victory against the Boston Celtics on Friday night would make it official.

Either a Raptors victory or a Knicks loss to the Suns will clinch a playoff berth for Toronto. Taking care of business two days ago in Boston, the Raptors will aim to control their own fate once again on Friday night.

“We can’t count on anybody ...

From Coach Dwane Casey has the Toronto Raptors in solid position to make the playoffs for the first time in six seasons, but he realizes it’s only going to get tougher down the stretch.

The Washington Wizards are looking to end a similar postseason drought, though they’ll have to play the next six weeks without one of their top frontcourt contributors.

From Another strong defensive effort helped the Toronto Raptors bounce back from a rare defeat on their home floor.

It wouldn’t seem they should have trouble getting another home win Sunday night against the Orlando Magic, who could be without leading scorer Arron Afflalo and haven’t won a road game in more than two months.

While Atlantic Division-leading Toronto (30-25) has won 11 of 14 at home, the Southeast-worst Magic have lost 14 straight on the road since winning in Chicago on Dec. 16.

A 94-92 loss ...

Throwback Thursday: Air Canada Centre Turns 15

SkyDome General View

There’s no place like home, so the saying goes. By the way fans have been filling up Air Canada Centre this season, they would agree. And by the way the Raptors have been playing at Air Canada Centre this season, (9-3 in 2014) they would agree too.

But on this week in 1999, the Toronto Raptors scuffed up two different so-called ‘home turfs’. Things changed.

On February 19, 1999 the Raptors played their final game at the then named SkyDome, their home since their inaugural season. They wrapped up the era outplaying ...

DeRozan Hits No. 5 On Raptors All-Time Scoring List

The Raptors remarkable post-trade run continued into a new calendar year on Wednesday with possibly their best win of the season — a 95-82 win against the league-leading Pacers.

DeMar DeRozan struggled early but picked up his shooting in the fourth quarter on his way to a game-high 26 points in the win and the performance also re-wrote the Raptors’ record book.

DeRozan’s third 20+ point scoring effort in his last fourth games vaulted him past Jose Calderon for number five on the Raptors all-time scoring list, which seems astounding for ...
