Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame Inductees Honoured Tonight


Tonight’s game against the Cavaliers features two great young pros with local ties in Tristan Thompson and Anthony Bennett, which makes it the ideal choice to also serve as the Raptors annual Canada Basketball Awareness Night.

At halftime, the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame will also honour its 2013 Hall of Fame Inductees:

Two-time Olympian (1984 & 1996)

Candace Clarkson (Hamilton, ON)

Bronze Medal at World Championships (1979)
Olympian (1984)

Where some would see a gym, a basket and lacquered floor, Rowan Barrett sees another dot on a map that stretches to Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, France and countless stops within Canada and the United States.
