CLEVELAND (CP) – The Raptors aren’t officially in the NBA playoffs. They don’t look ready for them, either.

Dion Waiters scored 24 points, Luol Deng added 19 and the Cleveland Cavaliers prevented Toronto from getting closer to a post-season spot with a 102-100 win over the sloppy Raptors on Tuesday night.

Toronto fell behind by 21 points in the third quarter, and then battled back to take a 95-94 lead. But the Raptors fell apart in the final minutes.

DeRozan scored 16 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, and the Toronto Raptors won for the sixth time in seven games with a 99-93 victory over the injury-riddled Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night.

Raptors Hang On To Beat Cavaliers At ACC

TORONTO (CP) — The Toronto Raptors had every reason to blow Sunday’s game.

Short-handed and tired after travelling through the night following Friday’s crushing loss in Los Angeles, coach Dwane Casey told his team at halftime he wouldn’t accept any excuses.
