Raptors Embracing “15 Deep” Mentality

stone_576

Spend any amount of time around this year’s Toronto Raptors team and you’ll hear the phrase “15 deep.”

One of the key components of any successful team is depth. Over the course of an 82-game regular season a lot can happen. Thanks to injuries, illness and off-nights, even Mr. Dependable can disappear for a game here or there. Having a solid set of reserves can help weather those bumps and bruises without lasting damage.

For players that are not always in the rotation, staying ready on their own time is a must. […]

From NBA.com: Stephen Curry seems to play at his best immediately after showcasing his worst.

The All-Star guard now has a good chance to maintain his hot hand against a team he’s enjoyed great success against in his young career when the Golden State Warriors continue their six-game road trip against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Curry had one of his worst games of the season in a 103-83 loss at Chicago on Wednesday, finishing with a season low-tying five points on 2-of-10 shooting to go with five […]

#RTZ Digital Rundown: Raptors vs. Wizards

The longest game in franchise history still wasn’t enough time for the Raptors to scoop up their 33rd win of the season. Too many fouls and not enough healthy ankles set the Raptors back 134-129 when the final buzzer sounded in the third overtime. And the fans were in it until the end. #RTZ

The Washington Wizards are looking to end a similar postseason drought, though they’ll have to play the next six weeks without one of their top frontcourt contributors.

Toronto hasn’t had much trouble with Washington even when Nene has been in the lineup, and it will look to sweep the four-game […]
