MIAMI (CP) _ Trailing entering the fourth quarter, that’s becoming common for the Miami Heat.

So is overcoming those deficits.

Down by five entering the fourth, the Heat clamped down and beat the Toronto Raptors 102-97 Sunday night, getting 30 points from LeBron James and 17 from reserve Michael Beasley.

TORONTO (CP) — Poor defence early and bad free-throw shooting late cost the Toronto Raptors dearly Friday night.

Still they made a game of it against the surging Miami Heat, cutting a 20-point deficit to two before falling 90-83 to the NBA champions. It was the Heat’s ninth straight win.

TORONTO LeBron James reached his latest milestone in signature style.

James scored a season-high 35 points, Dwyane Wade had 20 and the Miami Heat beat the Toronto Raptors 104-95 on Tuesday for their first road victory in three tries this season.
