TORONTO (CP) – Kyle Lowry scored on an awkward, lurching 31-foot buzzer-beater just before halftime Wednesday, a circus shot that left him sprawled, grinning on his stomach on the Air Canada Centre floor.

The Raptors very nearly spoiled what was the point guard’s finest performance – in a playoff series full of them – while holding on for a 115-113 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

Lowry poured in 36 points in the victory that gave the Raptors a 3-2 lead in their […]

Game Recap | Box Score | Photo Gallery | Video Highlights & Reaction

When the Toronto Raptors arrived in Brooklyn, the goal was simple: Take back homecourt advantage. Winning both games at Barclays Center would have been great, but the most important thing was to return to Toronto with their homecourt advantaged reclaimed.

Thanks to a gutsy and inspired fourth quarter, the Raptors pulled out an 87-79 victory over the Nets on Sunday night. It helped to ease the sting of a close loss in Game 3.

“We’re on a mission,” Toronto head […]

It was Game 3 in Brooklyn but with the fan power at full force it sure felt like it was north of the border. A familiar fourth quarter push had the Raptors clawing back from a 14-point deficit to within a possession but the Nets took the series lead in the end. #WeTheNorth

The energy was there, even though the late-game execution wasn’t.
