Focused Raptors Hold First Post-Season Practice

On the afternoon after their first playoff-focused practice, the Toronto Raptors were in deflection mode. While the talk around the league was of the Brooklyn Nets purposefully losing their last game in order to face the Raptors, Toronto wanted no part of the conversation. Their focus remained on their own locker room and what they need to do to take care of home court when their first round series tips off on Saturday afternoon.

“They can do what they want, they can say what they want,” Kyle Lowry said. “We’ve got our ...

Raptors Fall To Knicks

Box Score | Photos | Highlights & Post-Game Reaction

NEW YORK (CP) – The Knicks lingered on the court, soaking in the cheers from the fans wearing those giveaway orange shirts that were probably meant for the playoffs.

And once they left, that was it. Hard as it still is for them to believe, there is no more basketball for the Knicks this season.

New York finished its disappointing season with a 95-92 victory Wednesday night over the Toronto Raptors, who blew a 21-point lead but still landed the No. 3 seed in ...

And then there was one. After six months of basketball, we’ve reached the end of the regular season. The Toronto Raptors will take on the New York Knicks to close it out on the road. For the first time in five seasons, the team will be preparing for the postseason rather than packing up their lockers for an early spring exit.

With much to sort out in the Eastern Conference standings, Wednesday’s game could ...

After cheering on his teammates from the bench during a 110-100 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night, DeRozan had some very important people waiting to speak with him.

Season Series: Raptors 2-0

The Toronto Raptors have won their second Atlantic Division title, though the clincher didn’t come in the fashion they hoped.

Heading for their sixth playoff appearance in 19 seasons of existence, they still have a chance to enter the postseason with plenty of momentum.

They hope to bounce back and win for the eighth time in 10 games when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.

Toronto (46-33) squandered its chance to clinch the Atlantic on its own Friday, losing 108-100 ...
