LOS ANGELES (CP) — Kobe Bryant’s steely determination never wavers. It’s his 34-year-old body he sometimes wonders about.
He skipped pre-game shootaround because his shoulders were tight, and he was feeling weary in overtime.
But Bryant found enough energy to hit the tying 3-pointer with 5 seconds to play in regulation, then dunked for the go-ahead basket with 10 seconds left in the extra session, helping the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 118-116 on Friday night for their second straight come-from-behind win.

OAKLAND, Calif. (CP) — Stephen Curry dribbled down court and saw Andrew Bogut sprinting to his left. He tossed a lob well above the rim, and Bogut leaped up high for a powerful two-handed dunk that had the rest of the Golden State Warriors running off the bench to offer high-fives and hugs in celebration.

Against Toronto, Ellis was 9 of 18 from the floor ...

CLEVELAND (CP) — Kyrie Irving isn’t the only Cavaliers guard with killer instinct on the court.
When the game’s on the line, Dion Waiters wants the spotlight — and the ball.
“I live for that,” the rookie said.
Waiters scored 23 points, his last two coming on a crucial jumper with 1:43 left, Shaun Livingston added 15 and Cleveland overcame a horrendous start to win its second straight game without an injured Irving, 103-92 over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
The Cavs made only one of their first 15 shots, but recovered ...
